Katowice, March 2025
The largest occupational health and safety industry event in Poland has officially come to an end. The International Health & Safety Trade Fair 2025, held on 4–5 March at the International Congress Centre, brought together more than 120 exhibitors from Poland and abroad and attracted over six thousand visitors. Participants included OHS professionals, representatives of manufacturing and construction companies, as well as workplace safety experts.
During this year’s edition, visitors had the opportunity to explore the latest solutions in workplace health and life protection, innovative technologies, and recent legislative changes. The extensive conference programme featured numerous presentations, workshops, and panel discussions organised in cooperation with industry partners.
The 21st edition of the trade fair was held under the honorary patronage of the Chief Labour Inspector, the National Association of Occupational Health and Safety Service Employees, the Higher School of Labour Safety Management in Katowice, the Safety Culture Foundation, and the Central Mining Rescue Station S.A.
Extensive Programme of Accompanying Events
This year’s edition of the Health & Safety Trade Fair featured a wide range of accompanying events, attracting more than 2,500 participants. Key conferences, workshops, and debates addressed the most pressing occupational health and safety challenges while presenting innovative approaches to employee wellbeing and protection.
One of the highlight events was the nationwide conference “Occupational Safety and Innovative Technologies in Industry”, organised by the Regional Labour Inspectorate in Katowice. The conference gathered more than 600 participants and provided a platform for discussions on modern technological solutions capable of transforming OHS standards across various industrial sectors.
The symposium “Best OHS Practices”, organised by the Higher School of Labour Safety Management in Katowice, focused on proven methods and procedures for improving workplace safety. Participants had the opportunity to learn about real-life implementation examples and their impact on reducing workplace accidents.
Industry experts and practitioners also met during the Wektory BHP – Intersafe & DNV Practitioners Forum, where the latest trends and tools supporting safer working environments were discussed. The event became an inspiring platform for sharing experiences and best practices.
Another highly attended event was the conference “A New Era of Occupational Safety – Putting People First”, combined with workshops titled “Emotional Support in Accident Analysis”, organised by the Safety Culture Foundation. The meeting highlighted the importance of a human-centred approach and psychological support in workplace crisis situations related to accidents.
An important part of the programme was also the 1st Silesian Debate on Occupational Safety, organised by the Katowice Branch of the National Association of Occupational Health and Safety Service Employees. The discussion laid the foundation for future editions of the initiative and created space for addressing key challenges faced by both employers and employees.
The topic of employee wellbeing was also strongly represented. During the lecture “Tired Like a Pole at Work: Causes, Effects and Consequences”, organised by the Safe at Work Coalition, experts discussed the impact of fatigue on employee performance and workplace safety.
Once again, the Health & Safety Trade Fair proved to be not only a showcase for modern solutions, but also a valuable platform for substantive discussions and knowledge exchange among industry professionals.
Innovation, Demonstrations and Practical Knowledge
Throughout both days of the fair, the Demonstration Zone attracted significant interest, allowing participants not only to see the latest technologies in action, but also to gain practical knowledge. As part of their ticket to the International Health & Safety Trade Fair, visitors were able to:
Participate in AED demonstrations for cardiac arrest response
Watch simulations of severe bleeding control procedures
Learn about the use of passive exoskeletons in the workplace
Take part in workshops on industrial head protection and safety management
On the second day, a special attraction was THE CHALLENGE of Safety! – an event combining personal protective equipment testing, workshops, and a dedicated SAFETY INFLUENCER zone, where safety became a true trend.
